Milky Wave

A new concept in waving. Milky Wave is a semi-permanent movement and texture system that creates natural-looking waves, curls, and volume — without the harshness of traditional perms. Thioglycolate-free and ammonia-free formula with almost no unpleasant odor. Gentle action respects hair integrity. Works on all hair types including color-treated, bleached, and sensitized hair. Milky Wave moves beyond the traditional one-size-fits-all perm approach. Powered by an Arginine and Cysteamine reducing system — the same amino acids that make up keratin — it reshapes texture while simultaneously conditioning and protecting the hair. Fundamentally different from harsh thioglycolate-based perms.

Processing Times:

• Natural hair: 20 minutes
• Treated or thin hair: 15 minutes
• Very sensitized or very thin hair: 10–15 minutes

• Step 1: Cleanse hair and scalp with a shampoo free of salt and silicones. Remove all substances that may hinder the modeling treatment. Rinse thoroughly.
• Step 2 (for bleached, colored, treated, or sensitized hair): Saturate hair with Protective Lotion. Spray at ~4 inches. Comb with a medium or wide comb. Leave on for a couple of minutes.
• Step 3: Apply Shaping, Waving & Texturizing Cream. Saturate each lock. Shape using chosen method (clamps, cords, braids, bands, torchon, curlers, rods, beak clips). Process per hair type.
• Step 4: Rinse thoroughly with warm water only. Do not remove tools.
• Step 5: Apply Neutralizer carefully to each shape, section, or structure using the drop applicator or spray pump. Use enough to fully saturate. Processing time: 10 minutes.
• Step 6: Undo shapes and remove tools. Apply second coat of Neutralizer, gathering hair to set the form. Processing time: 5–10 minutes.
• Step 7: Rinse thoroughly with warm water. If necessary, perform a light and delicate shampoo.
• Step 8: Complete the service by spraying Protective, Balancing and Compensating Lotion at ~4 inches.
